IKargo.com will be Malaysia's 1st logistic portal. It was created to overcome inefficiencies in the logistic industry.
It is a marketplace for Commercial and individual users to look for logistic services and also for logistic service providers to look for cargo whenever they have empty/partial loads or idle trucks.
With the iKarGo portal, you do not need to call up 5 or 10 transporters and enquire whether they have available trucks and their rates. Now you only need to post an ad and it goes out to ALL logistic service providers immediately through email and app notification. This will ensure that you get connected to as many logistic service providers as possible in order to get the best rates.
The transporters will then bid for your job which will ensure that you get the most competitive price. However, with the price alone, it may be difficult to make a decision. Now with iKargo, you will get the following information to make a more informed decision:

WHERE ARE WE AT NOW?
We have completed a prototype design and we are testing it now to sort out the bugs before we develop the final website. We expect to be able to complete the development work by July 2014 and launch iKargo.com by the 4th quarter 2014.
