THE PROBLEM
Double parking is a major problem especially here in the Klang Valley and it can be very annoying and frustrating. The RePark app is designed to solve this problem - turning the double parking issue into a more friendly, community style of communication.
The RePark app is a simple mobile application that allows drivers to contact other drivers via their car registration number - What happens is: the ingenious application does ONE simple thing: Synchronises your mobile phone number with your car registration number. In turn, you will then be able to contact other drivers simply by key-ing in their car registration numbers.
THE WHY
The traditional way we Malaysians use to overcome this double parking issue is to leave your contact number on the dashboard, publicising your
personal information to any stranger or passer by. This advertising of personal information can be very dangerous as anybody now will have the opportunity to reach you personally.
THE SOLUTION
For the Double Parker
The RePark app will allow drivers to contact other drivers simply by key-ing in their registration numbers - keeping their mobile numbers private and not publicised.
Whether you are double parking or being double parked by another driver, the app works both ways and allows drivers on both ends to contact each other. So, if you decide to double park, simple look over to the blocked car's registration number and send a notification.
For the Parkers
if you are being double parked - DON'T get angry and start honking that will annoy the people around you. Instead just walk over to the car's registration number that is blocking you, key that in and send them a notification. If you have received the notification of being blocked in advance, simply notify the blocking driver in advance and you should have your exit route free.

Upcoming Features
The RePark app additional features will feature communication methods between cars, allowing all drivers to be part of a community - helping and informing one another should there be any problems, such as:
- car lights left on
- petrol cap open
- dangerous potholes on the road
- shady character hanging around your car (potential break in)
